WEDDING PREP AT MEDSPA 33
Planning Treatments Around the Big Day
There’s a lot to plan before a wedding, and aesthetic treatments shouldn’t be a last-minute decision. Starting early gives treatments time to work, skin time to improve, and plenty of room to make adjustments along the way.
At MEDSPA 33, we’ll look at the wedding date, upcoming events, skin concerns, and aesthetic goals to map out what makes sense and when. Whether the plan is simple or includes several treatments, the goal is to have everything settled well before “I do.”
Wedding Prep Treatments
Depending on the timeline and goals, wedding prep may include:
Botox® & wrinkle relaxers
Dermal fillers
Lip filler
Facial balancing
Sculptra®
Microneedling
IPL Photofacial
Laser skin rejuvenation
Laser hair removal
HydraFacial®
Chemical peels
Dermaplaning

Who Is Wedding Prep for?
Brides, grooms, and anyone getting ready for the celebration.

Wedding Prep Timeline
9–12 MONTHS BEFORE:
Start With the Foundation
This is the perfect time to think about the bigger picture. Starting early gives plenty of time for treatments that work gradually or require multiple sessions.
This stage may include:
Consultation and skin assessment
Medical-grade skincare
Laser hair removal
Microneedling
IPL or laser treatments
Sculptra®
Facial balancing
It’s also a good time to address concerns like acne scars, pigmentation, uneven texture, unwanted hair, or facial volume loss without feeling rushed.
6–9 MONTHS BEFORE:
Treatments Are Underway
Now the plan starts coming together. Treatment series can continue, and injectables can be introduced early enough to see how the results look and make adjustments if needed.
This stage may include:
Botox® or other wrinkle relaxers
Dermal fillers
Microneedling
IPL Photofacial
Laser treatments
Facials
Skincare adjustments
1–3 MONTHS BEFORE:
Perfecting & Polishing
By now, most of the bigger work should be behind you. The focus shifts toward maintaining results and keeping the skin looking its best.
Depending on the treatment plan, this may include:
Final Botox treatment
HydraFacial®
Dermaplaning
Established facial treatments
Skincare maintenance
This isn’t the time for major changes. Stick with what has been working and let everything come together.
But what if you’re reading this thinking, “Wait... my wedding is in 3 months. Did I wait too long?”
No panic necessary. Three months can still be plenty of time to make a difference. We may not recommend everything we would with a 9–12 month timeline, but there are still plenty of options for improving the skin, making subtle enhancements, and getting wedding-ready.
Tell us the wedding date, and we’ll work from there to focus on what makes sense with the time we have.

From there, we’ll map out the treatments that make sense and when to schedule them. If a series is recommended, appointments can be planned with enough time between treatments and before important events.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bridal & Wedding Prep
When should I start aesthetic treatments before my wedding?
Starting 9–12 months ahead gives the most flexibility, especially for skin or laser treatment series and treatments that develop gradually. Have less time? MEDSPA 33 can still help create a realistic plan based on the wedding date.
When should I get Botox before my wedding?
If Botox is new to you, it’s best to start several months ahead so you know how you respond. If you already receive Botox regularly, your MEDSPA 33 provider can help determine the timing of your final treatment before the wedding.
When should I get filler before my wedding?
Plan filler well in advance rather than immediately before the wedding. Timing depends on the area being treated, previous filler experience, and important events leading up to the big day.
What skin treatments are good before a wedding?
HydraFacial®, dermaplaning, microneedling, IPL, laser treatments, chemical peels, facials, and medical-grade skincare may all be considered. The best options depend on the skin concerns and the amount of time available before the wedding.
Can we plan around engagement photos and other wedding events?
Absolutely. Bring those dates to the consultation. Engagement photos, showers, bachelor or bachelorette events, rehearsal dinners, and other important occasions can all be considered when scheduling treatments.
Should I try a new treatment right before my wedding?
We recommend avoiding major changes or unfamiliar treatments immediately before the wedding. Starting earlier gives time to see how the skin responds and keeps the final weeks much less stressful.
Is wedding prep only for brides?
Not at all. MEDSPA 33 offers wedding prep for brides, grooms, and others who want to look and feel their best for the celebration.
What if I don’t know which treatments I need?
That’s exactly what the consultation is for. Tell us what you’d like to improve and when the wedding is, and we’ll help determine which treatments make sense—and which ones you can skip.
